Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Essential Storage

FaceForge uses browser-based storage (cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage) to provide core functionality. This includes keeping you signed in between sessions, storing your authentication token, and remembering preferences like whether you have seen the signup prompt.

These are essential to the service and cannot be disabled without breaking core features like login and render history.

2. Analytics

FaceForge currently uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (page views, performance metrics). This helps us understand how the app is used and improve the service. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Additional analytics tools may be introduced in the future. This policy will be updated if that occurs.

3. Payment Provider Cookies

If FaceForge introduces paid features, our payment provider may set their own cookies during the checkout process. These cookies are governed by the payment provider's own privacy and cookie policies, not ours. We do not control or have access to these cookies.

4. Controlling Cookies

You can view, manage, and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies while still accepting first-party cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent features like login from working correctly.

For instructions specific to your browser, refer to its help documentation.

5. Contact
